Gustaf Westman is a Swedish designer renowned for his playful and innovative approach to furniture and interior design. Born on December 18, 1993, in Dalsjöfors, Sweden, Westman initially pursued architecture at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. After three years of study, he began an internship at an architectural firm in Stockholm in 2018, where he developed an interest in designing furniture.

In 2020, Westman founded his design studio, Gustaf Westman Objects, in Stockholm. The studio offers a range of products, including made-to-order furniture, custom design pieces, ceramics, and glassware. Each piece is crafted in collaboration with selected Swedish woodworkers, emphasizing local and sustainable production processes.

Westman's designs are characterized by curvy lines and vibrant colors, reflecting a playful and contemporary aesthetic. His work gained rapid attention for its distinctive style, resonating with influencers and celebrities both in Sweden and internationally. Notable collaborations include partnerships with brands such as Nelly.com, Swedish Stockings, Boråstapeter, Halebop, and Gina Tricot.

Westman's designs have garnered international acclaim, leading to exhibitions and pop-up shops in various cities. In August 2023, he hosted a pop-up shop and exhibition in Amsterdam, experimenting with size and color to transform small spaces into immersive art experiences. In December 2023, he collaborated with The Standard for a month-long takeover at Café Standard during Miami Art Week, showcasing his signature aesthetic to a broader audience.
